Freshly harvested needles are washed and prepared as a strong decoction over low heat for 8 hours, then further reduced gently over low heat for 2-3 more hours to concentrate the extract. Vegetable Glycerite is added to the finished extract to bring it back to it’s ideal strength while also making the extract shelf stable. The extract has a light evergreen aroma and the taste is mildly piney, and sweet. Extract can be taken as is or added to water.
